Amy Scott
Amy Scott has been working with Good Group Decisions since 2004. Amy facilitates meetings and strategic planning, and also attends meetings with Craig and prepares meeting reports. She also conducts surveys and research for clients and assists Craig with a variety of other
tasks.
Amy’s experience as a facilitator began while working at her alma mater -- College of the Atlantic. Together with college faculty and community leaders, Amy helped to form the Union River Watershed Coalition in Hancock County, as well as a watershed studies program at the college. Community outreach efforts continued during Amy’s years with the Northern Forest Center. Her work reached into Northern Forest communities across New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Amy has also worked with the Mahoosuc Land Trust on conservation and recreation projects in the Mahoosuc Mountain region.
In a volunteer role, Amy assists in developing gardens and associated programs at the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond (formerly the Maine Conservation School). She is convening a group in her community which is working to collaborate on various local food projects.
Amy and her husband built their home in Greenwood, Maine where she spends her time with her two young daughters, building vegetable gardens, exploring the land and loving life as a mother.
