Conflict: How to Prevent It, Manage It, and Make Lemonade With It

Any creative endeavor brings conflict. The trick is to manage conflict in healthy ways so that as the old adage says, 'when life brings you lemons, make lemonade.' In this interactive and fun workshop, we will learn theory and practice techniques. We will tell and hear stories. We will learn about how and when to add the secret ingredient: sugar.

Meeting Facilitation Techniques

Are you called upon to facilitate meetings and wish you were better at it? Could you use tools to help you plan and run meetings in ways that all participants will really appreciate? Come to this half-day SkillBuilder to address the fundamentals of expert meeting facilitation and draw on your experiences to learn specific techniques. You will leave this SkillBuilder with new and more effective ways of facilitating meetings.
This SkillBuilder will include:
- What the best facilitators do to make meetings efficient and productive
- Basic steps, from proposal development to agreement, and how to facilitate in differing situations
- Making participants feel comfortable and bringing out their best
